Today’s ‘Christmas with a Difference’ post is slightly different – I thought I’d share with you a project that my Mum and I have been working on over the past couple of months. We’d been tasked to create a nativity scene out of ‘fuzzy felt’ for the toddler group to use during the lead up to Christmas.
While this seemed a daunting challenge to begin with, we eventually worked out a way to do it. We’re both really pleased with the final results – and I realised that I’m not very good at creating people (so I took responsibility of the animals).
Although it was hard work, especially as they are all hand-stitched, it has been a joy to see the children play with them, and be able to experience and learn about the Nativity story in a different way.
I hope you’ve enjoyed getting a glimpse of one of the DIY projects I’ve been spending my time doing lately!
