Honest Reflections | On Keeping it Real

When you enter a room, and see someone you know, they make ask the fairly standard question,
“How are you doing?”
 

How do you answer that question?

I guess really, that’s the crux of the problem I’m presenting you with. How often are we open, honest, and vulnerable with the people who we’re friends with? (and slightly controversially), I’m going to say, whether those friends are close, or not at all – it doesn’t matter, the question still remains.

Welcome back to the next instalment of my recent adventures round the Holy Land.

Just another place we hear so much about, but dream of seeing? ‘twas definitely the case for me. Our day trip to the Galilee region was one of two long day-trips of sight-seeing – but while they were hot (around 35/36°C), long, and full-on, I’m so glad I had the opportunity to see and explore some of those areas.

Confessions of a Fresher

Let’s just say this. Freshers’ week is unlike anything else I’ve experienced before. It’s full on, good fun, but also pretty overwhelming at times. I’ve tried to sit and write this several times this week, but never got further than a couple of lines. It’s exhausting, and sometimes you have to take note of that, rather than pushing through it.
